AI Disclosure and Recording Notice at the Start of Each Call
Your receptionist says it is a virtual assistant and that the call is recorded before the conversation proceeds. Both notices are part of the greeting and cannot be switched off.
- Virtual assistant noticeCallers hear the assistant identify itself when the call starts.
- Recording noticeThe greeting tells callers that the conversation is being recorded.
- Fixed disclosureYour business cannot turn off either notice in the greeting.

The opening greeting tells callers what they are speaking with and that recording is taking place. This disclosure applies to live business calls, and our browser demo also records and transcribes conversations to show the result.
You can hear the opening in the demo before deciding whether to try the service. The virtual-assistant notice stays in place even when you change your business instructions. Recording notice is a product feature; we do not present it as a complete assessment of your business's legal obligations.
Call Storage, Business Access and Retention Periods
Hosting and storage providers support the service, and your dashboard gives you access to calls, transcripts and recordings. You choose a recording retention period of 30 or 90 days.

- Recording retentionChoose 30 or 90 days, after which recordings are deleted.
- Written recordsTranscripts and summaries remain while your business account is open.

Your dashboard holds the call material your business uses for follow-up, including recordings, transcripts and summaries. Email and app push notifications also deliver call information, so include those channels when considering how your staff handles messages.
We use hosting and storage services, telephone carriers and other processing providers to run RingCorgi. Email [email protected] with questions about hosting or storage. Transcripts and summaries are deleted within 30 days after account closure or on request. The privacy policy's data sections describe the information collected and the provider categories involved.
How AI Providers Process Voice and Text
AI model providers process voice and text to support the receptionist. Our API data is not used to train their models by default. We do not use callers' information for our own marketing.
- 1Voice and text processingAI model providers help run receptionist conversations and written outputs.
- 2Training defaultOur AI model provider, OpenAI, does not train models on our API data by default.
- 3Caller data useWe do not use callers' information for RingCorgi's own marketing.

AI providers are one category of service provider involved in handling conversations and their written results. Processing information to provide the receptionist is separate from using API data for model training, which does not happen by default.
That default does not mean no provider processes your calls. Hosting, carriers, AI processing and message delivery each support the service. We do not sell personal information. For questions about a particular use of call information, email [email protected] with the business name and enough context to identify your request.
Your Choices for Retention, Data Access and Deletion
You can choose recording retention, review call information in the dashboard and request access, correction or deletion by email. Callers can contact the business they called or send their request to us.

Your business decides why caller information is collected and what the receptionist should ask. We process that caller information on your behalf. Review your intake questions when your services or business policies change.
For a data request, contact [email protected] and identify the business involved. Callers may ask either that business or us for help. Recordings follow the chosen retention period; written transcripts and summaries follow the account and deletion terms. See the full privacy request details for the contact route and the data covered.
Healthcare and Certifications Are Outside Our Current Offer
We do not offer healthcare use or claim HIPAA readiness, certifications or security audits. Our published practices describe the current service; they are not a certification of your business's own use.
- Healthcare excludedDo not use RingCorgi for healthcare practices or protected health information.
- No certificationsWe do not claim SOC 2, ISO or other certifications.
- AI review mattersCheck summaries because the receptionist can make mistakes during conversations.

Healthcare practices and protected health information are outside the service we offer at launch. A recording notice, retention choice or our AI model provider OpenAI's training default does not change that boundary.
We do not claim a completed security audit or a certification. Your business should review the actual data practices and decide whether they fit the calls you handle. Keep a backup way to be reached and review summaries for errors. Questions about service suitability can go to [email protected]; questions about personal information can go to [email protected].
